Acts of Mercy
What is Acts of Mercy?
Acts of Mercy is the Crisis Relief and Community Development arm of the Antioch Movement. We mobilise the Church to take a leading role in times of crisis (such as war or natural disaster); providing relief, humanitarian aid, and supporting long-term community development.
-
The vision of Acts of Mercy International is to turn global crises into opportunities for gospel outreach, discipleship, and church planting, while providing relief and support that fosters Christ-centered transformation.
-
Antioch Australia provides training for local groups and individuals who would like to be deployed on short and long term trips with Acts of Mercy.
We offer this training quarterly, at the cost of $75. The course is online, with a total of 8 hours of video content. There will also be the option each quarter for in person follow up and course debrief as well.
Once trained, individuals are able to be deployed internationally as an Acts of Mercy responder.
See their website for more information, or fill out the contact form below to apply for the next round of training.

Acts of Mercy responds to global crisis in three stages: relief, aid, and long-term community development.
Each deployment will look very different based on which of these stages you are going in, and your role and skillset.
Our training provides much greater detail on what these roles include, but as a few examples deployments could involve: emergency food, shelter and water distribution, medical outreach, search and rescue, trauma care, intercession, youth and/ or children's camps and programs, cleaning and clearing, security, and more.
